Rules and Procedures

Classroom Rules:

Please no talking unless given permission by the teacher

Remain in seat during class period unless given a pass to leave the room

Use appropriate language

Please push in chair at the end of class

Consequences:

Not limited to or in specific order based on infraction

*verbal warning
*after school detention
*parent notification
*guidance referral
*office referral
*seat changed


Procedures:

·         Beginning of Class
Students should be seated by the time the bell rings
No hanging out at the door of the room (considered tardy)
The warm up should be started by the bell
Tardy students must sign book
During announcements students should listen quietly

·         Middle of Class
Students should stay in their seats unless they have a pass to leave the room
Students must ask permission to leave the room and must take a pass with them; permission to leave the room is completely up to the teacher
Students will only be permitted to go to the bathroom after the first 10 minutes and before the last 10 minutes
Student will not be permitted to go to their lockers during class
·         End of Class
Students will pack up their things when either the teacher tells them or the bell rings (please don’t pack up early)
Students should push in their chairs before leaving classroom
